Abstract

This dataset comprises the experimental results of a Master's thesis investigating quartz-hosted fluid inclusions within their respective microstructural domains at the Paraíba gold deposit in Mato Grosso, Brazil. The data include fluid inclusion photomicrographs, Raman spectroscopy and microthermometry results, as well as generated maps and diagrams. The methodology employed consists of: I) Bibliographic review; II) Macroscopic petrographic description; III) Microscopic petrographic description, including the delimitation of microstructural domains and their associated fluid inclusions; IV) Microthermometric data acquisition; and V) Raman spectroscopy of the gas phase of the fluid inclusions. The purpose of this study was to identify the fluids related to gold precipitation in the Paraíba deposit given the limited existing research on this deposit and the paucity of data for the Alta Floresta Mineral Province as a whole. Additionally, summary tables of the primary findings and supplementary data are provided.
