Abstract

This dataset provides hourly estimates of Net Ecosystem Exchange (NEE) across Tasmania’s tall eucalypt forests within the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area from 2015 to 2024 at 2 km spatial resolution. NEE was predicted using a machine learning framework trained on eddy covariance measurements from the AU-Wrr flux tower and driven by fine temporal resolution Himawari satellite observations and ERA5 reanalysis variables.
