Abstract

This dataset includes continuous sea surface measurements of pCO2, temperature, salinity and atmospheric pressure data during the R/V Marion Dufresne OISO-32 cruise (EXPOCODE 35MV20241225) in the Indian Ocean from 2024-12-25 to 2025-02-02. The OISO program (Océan Indien Service d'Observations), initiated in 1998, collects measurements of pCO2 and associated parameters (T, S, DIC, TALK, nutrients, Chl-a, 13C) along the repeated lines of R.V. Marion-Dufresne in the South-Western Indian and Southern Oceans; this coverage is a complement of the international CO2 observing system (IOCCP). The OISO data are regularly included in international data synthesis (SOCAT, GLODAP).
