Abstract

Patients with rheumatic diseases often face challenges in mounting effective immune responses, which can be further influenced by immunomodulatory treatments such as Janus kinase (JAK) inhibitors. In this study, we investigated both cellular (via IFN-γ- ELISpot-Assays) and humoral (IgG concentrations and avidity) immune responses to measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella in patients with rheumatic diseases. These patients were stratified into those receiving JAK inhibitor therapy and those not undergoing such treatment. Results were compared to healthy control individuals to assess potential differences in immunity related to the disease and its management.
