Abstract

To explore the molecular response mechanisms of salt-tolerant and salt-sensitive wheat varieties under salt stress, this project selects 2 salt-tolerant wheat varieties and 2 salt-sensitive wheat varieties, and subjects them to normal hydroponic treatment and 120 mmol/L sodium sulfate stress treatment respectively. Subsequently, transcriptome and metabolome sequencing are performed on wheat samples from each treatment group, aiming to analyze the differential regulatory patterns of wheat varieties with different salt tolerance characteristics in response to salt stress from the perspectives of gene expression and metabolite changes, and to provide a theoretical basis for the genetic improvement of salt-tolerant wheat varieties and the efficient cultivation of wheat in saline-alkali soils.
