Investigating autonomic activity in drug-resistant epilepsy and the effects of clinical vagus nerve stimulation on muscle sympathetic nerve activity
Abstract
This thesis investigates the autonomic nervous system in people with drug-resistant epilepsy and considers how stimulation of the vagus nerve can alter autonomic activity in these individuals.
