High Performance Wide Bandgap Motor Drives
Abstract
This thesis analyses how wide-bandgap power devices in electric vehicle motor controllers can damage motors and interfere with nearby systems. It quantifies the performance of output filters that limit these effects and provides guidelines for holistic motor drive system design. The findings help advance electric transport by improving the durability and safety of high-performance drive systems.
