...τον καλπασμό τους να τον κάμουνε φτερούγα... Τα άλογα στην ποίηση και την ποιητική του Άγγελου Σικελιανού = Horses in the poetry and poetics of Sikelianos
Abstract
This paper examines the various metaphorical uses of the horse in Angelos Sikelianos’ poetic oeuvre. The poet appears either as a skillful rider or as a horse himself, in ways that demonstrate his deep knowledge of nature and shed light on his self-perception as a gifted creator. Additionally, three poems of tender companionship are approached, in each of which the poet and his comrade appear to ride together.
