Geometry-Driven Excited-State Intramolecular Proton Transfer-TADF Modulation in Phenoxazine Donor-Amide Systems
Abstract
We report the first comprehensive structure-property-device study of phenoxazine-spacer amide emitters: phenoxazine-phenyl (1), phenoxazine-pyridine (2), and phenoxazine-pyrazine (3). This phenoxazine-π-amide platform exploits spacer identity and donor-acceptor geometry to regulate intramolecular N-H⋯N hydrogen bonding, donor-spacer dihedral angles (34-85 °), and HOMO-LUMO coupling, thereby tuning local versus charge-transfer character.
