Evaluation of net reaction heat in photochemical processes excluding heat input from irradiation
Abstract
We have established a procedure for evaluating net reaction heat generated by photochemical processes. As a representative example, photochemical Wohl-Ziegler bromination was selected. Its reaction heat was measured independently of heat input from irradiation using an EasyMax system. Such precise evaluation can facilitate safe and efficient scale-up of photochemical reactions.
