Triumph

This novel follows a young women's exploration of Aotearoa youth culture, participation in the labour movement, and the formative relationships of her early twenties. She undertakes life in Wellington, before taking a road trip with her partner, to better understand her country and the politics that shape it, the class structures that underpin it, to live out the ideal she sees presented, and to write the novel she thinks will kick-start a counter-culture.
