The algebra generated by the inverse semigroup
Abstract
We study the endomorphisms of the inverse semigroupM(P) generated by the free product of cones and show that three types of endomorphisms are possible. Next, we consider C∗-algebras C∗(ρ) generated by intertwining operators of degrees of endomorphism ρ of the semigroup M(P). Generators of these algebras are found for each of the three possible types of endomorphisms.
