Abstract
요 약 본 논문은 인간의 유한성(finitude)과 불확실성(uncertainty) 속에서 탄생한 확률적 사고가 오늘날 인 공지능 기술의 저변에 웅크리고 있는 문법임을 지적하면서 이러한 확률적 사고의 등장에 공헌한 초 기 확률론자들(early probabilists)과 그들의 저작을 살펴본다.이것은 확률로 사유하는 인간, 이른바 호 모 프로바빌리스(Homo Probabilis)의 탄생에 있어 유의미한 순간을 돌아보는 작업이 될 것이다.한편, 확률론이 등장하고 개화하던 시대의 정신이 계몽사상(Enlightenment thoughts)
