An Empirical Study Based on the Evaluation Indicator System for High-Quality Development of Rural Tourism under the Common Prosperity Context
Abstract
Based on three dimensions-material life, spiritual life, and living environment-and six aspects including reception and services, economic prosperity, culture and entertainment, effective governance, resources and environment, and civilized rural culture, this study employs the entropy-weighted TOPSIS method and Dagum Gini coefficient decomposition to analyze and evaluate the comprehensive index level of high-quality development of rural tourism in 30 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities) and three major regions from 2011 to 2020.Accordingly, it proposes policy recommendations for improving the top-level institutional design of rural tourism, pursuing multidimensional achievement of high-quality development in rural tourism, and promoting intraregional and inter-regional coordinated high-quality development of rural tourism.
