Exploring Strategies for the Spatial Transformation of Subway Ancillary Facilities ——Taking Fuzhou Line 4 in China as an example
Abstract
Subway ancillary facilities serve both as urban transport hubs and integral components of transitional urban spaces. In recent years, Fuzhou's metro network has undergone continuous expansion.Field investigations reveal that improvements are required for the surface facilities of Fuzhou Metro.Drawing upon analyses of landscape and planning theories alongside practical case studies, this paper proposes three feasible renovation strategies: environmental ecology, cultural history, and scale aesthetics. These approaches offer novel perspectives for optimising urban subway ancillary facilities.
