Abstract

This study investigates how artificial intelligence empowers the restructuring of global value chains through innovation and efficiency pathways.Using cross-country panel data, the analysis reveals that AI significantly enhances global production coordination, technological upgrading and value creation, while digital governance further strengthens these effects across different economic systems.
