Abstract

The research aims to identify the main artistic techniques used in contemporary film poster design, their typological features, and the patterns of their functioning within a multimedia environment, as well as to systematize modern forms of film posters. The article analyzes the current state of the film poster genre, considering technological and communicative changes, identifies key trends influencing its evolution, and proposes a classification of new film poster forms in the digital space. The scientific novelty of the study lies in identifying key technological and aesthetic trends that define the genre’s evolution in the digital age; in comprehensively systematizing multimedia forms of film posters; and in developing a typology of contemporary film posters based on their functional and format features. The research findings establish that the modern film poster is not merely a film announcement but a dynamic structure where technology blurs the boundaries between advertising, art, and interactive experience. Furthermore, an analysis of international projects has shown that the film poster has become a multifunctional communication tool whose effectiveness is determined not only by its reach but also by the depth of emotional interaction with the audience.
