Art as the body of philosophy: the problem of expression from a transdisciplinary perspective
Abstract
The article aims to define the philosophy of art as an emerging and independent field of knowledge through the core principles of its transdisciplinary nature. The scientific novelty lies in substantiating the transdisciplinarity of the methodology (ontological and axiological approaches), the subject matter (its emergent/becoming nature), and the problematics (concepts) of the philosophy of art. As a result of the study, chronotopological concepts are identified as expressions of a changing state of being. Furthermore, the significance of expression is emphasized as a dialogue and “co-being” of man and the world, uniting philosophy and art into a transdisciplinary unity.
