Digital didactics: transformation and continuity of teaching principles
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to substantiate the continuity and transformation of traditional didactic principles in the context of the transition to digital didactics. The article focuses on the transformation of the traditional learning model into a digital one. The content of teaching principles from the perspective of implementing online learning is analyzed. A new interpretation of didactic principles characteristic of the digital educational environment is presented. The significance of organizing group forms of interaction in the online space is emphasized. The importance of the instrumental component of the digital educational environment – encompassing digital tools and resources provided by online learning platforms as well as those independently selected by students – for achieving educational goals in the context of digitalization is asserted. The scientific novelty lies in the supplementation of classical teaching principles and their systematization within the context of online learning. This includes the following principles: personalization; interactivity; practice-orientation; increasing complexity; richness and security of the digital educational environment; polymodality and multimedia; and formative assessment. As a result, the necessity of preserving the fundamental principles of traditional education while qualitatively transforming its didactic principles in a virtual environment has been established. Furthermore, the task of further developing digital didactics in the context of advancing artificial intelligence technologies and considering the specific nature of the online educational space has been actualized.
