Abstract

The article presents the experience of operating molds made from 20L steel with additional modification with a complex modifier L-CAST 5.2 before the release of metal and modifier BARS25 during metal release with microalloying by ligature made from nickel-molybdenum. The durability of the molds, equaled to 42 pours, has been achieved with a standard durability equal to 20 pours.
