Abstract

This study aims to analyze the representation of six learning approaches (pedagogy, andragogi, heutagogi, peeragogy, geragogy, and cybergogy) on popular content on the popular content of the guru-influencer account @guru.berbagi.ilmu on Instagram. This account is an elementary school teacher's account in Jakarta, Indonesia, with 111,000 followers by 2024. The research method uses qualitative content analysis with directed content analysis techniques, where the analysis category comes directly from six theoretical concepts. The three uploads with the highest engagement in 2024 are analyzed. The results of the study show that the six approaches do not appear in a balanced manner. Andragogy and cybergogy appear consistently in all uploads, while peeragogy appears on two uploads. Pedagogy, heutagogi, and geragogy are not indicated. This research is the first research in Indonesia to apply the six-gogy framework in reading teachergram content. This finding also has policy implications, that platform-based teacher training has the potential to be developed through the use of teacher-influencer content. Instagram in this context serves as a knowledge intermediary platform that facilitates the production, exchange, and legitimacy of teachers' professional knowledge outside of formal institutions.
