Study of the level of coordination and strength training and the state of the nervous system of high school students during martial arts classes
Abstract
The article reveals the results of a study of coordination and strength training and the state of the nervous system of high school students, it was found that the level of motor training, which characterizes the coordination and strength abilities of high school students, is low. Thus, a comparison of the studied results of 11th grade students with the approximate educational standards contained in the curriculum "Physical Culture. 10–11 grades." revealed that the indicators of long jumps from a place, raising the torso to a sitting position in 1 min in both boys and girls, as well as pull-ups on the shoulders in boys correspond to the "average" level of competence. The results of throwing the ball at a distance in boys and girls correspond to the "low" level of competence, and the indicators of bending and extending the arms while lying in the support from the bench in girls - to the "sufficient" level of competence. At the same time, girls and boys of high school have an average and sufficient level of development of strength qualities, and the development of coordination abilities corresponds to a low level. In addition, it was found that the average level of strength of the nervous system of boys of high school is 2.1±0.13 points, while in girls of 11th grade this indicator is 2.4±0.11. According to the scale of assessment of dynamic working capacity by V.I. Ryzhkov, these indicators correspond to 6 points, which indicates the average value of the strength of the nervous system of schoolchildren of 17 years old. Regarding the mobility of nervous processes, in boys this indicator is 141.3±1.62 conventional units, and in girls of high school - 151.7±1.94 conventional units.
