Analysis of the prevalence sports injuries among football players of different ages
Abstract
The article discusses the peculiarities of sports injuries among young football players born in 2009 and 2010. The main regularities and factors influencing the prevalence of injuries in children's sports, in particular the dependence of the level of injury on age, specifics of loads and physical fitness, are identified. The analysis of the data shows that the most vulnerable areas are the lower extremities, especially the knee and ankle joints. The asymmetry of the distribution of injuries between the right and left limbs was revealed, which indicates an uneven distribution of loads during training activities. The study also showed that the frequency of lower extremity injuries is higher in athletes born in 2010 compared to the 2009 group. The largest percentage of injuries was recorded in the knee joint (75% in the younger group and 65% in the older group), as well as in the ankle joint (60% and 55%, respectively). Athletes born in 2010 showed a higher level of load asymmetry, which is manifested in a significantly higher frequency of injuries to the right leg (60%) compared to the left (35%). At the same time, this difference is less pronounced in the 2009 group.
