Abstract

The article substantiates the rationality of using special physical training methods, in particular special physical training standards, to develop the physical fitness of cadets at higher military educational institutions for performing training, combat, special, and combat tasks as assigned. To achieve the goal of the work, a theoretical analysis and generalization of educational and methodological literature, data from Internet resources, documentary method, and comparison method were carried out. The results of the study show that conducting special physical training classes using exercise complexes with tactical logs and car tires in field conditions contribute to the formation of military-applied motor skills, the improvement of special, physical, and psychological qualities of cadets, the improvement of their emotional state, fostering a sense of mutual assistance and responsibility to the team and the coordination of units. This gives grounds to recommend standards of special physical training for the formation of physical readiness of cadets of higher military educational institutions for future combat activities.
