Individual Physical Training Programs for Female Cadets of Military Higher Educational Institutions: An Experimental Study
Abstract
The rapid integration of women into Ukraine's Security and Defense Sector necessitates transforming physical training systems within Military Higher Educational Institutions (MHEIs). Unified standards often overlook individual psycho-physiological characteristics, increasing injury risks among cadets aged 18–20 years. This study aims to experimentally validate individual physical training complexes tailored to female anatomical, hormonal, and biomechanical specifics. Research was conducted under the initiative project «Ph. T. System «Female Cadets». Four highly functional training modules were developed and tested: Fitness Training, CrossFit Training, Physical Influence Measures, and Accelerated Movement. Modules incorporate modifications like menstrual cycle adjustment, proprioceptive warm-ups, phased load dosing, and cognitive loading during endurance tasks. A pedagogical experiment was conducted with 94 cadets from four major academies, randomly divided into control (n=47) and experimental (n=47) groups. Evaluation criteria included physical fitness norms, the Ruffier index, Borg RPE scale, and motivational surveys. Results indicated statistically significant improvements in the experimental group compared to controls: speed qualities improved by 9.2% (p
