Abstract

This study aims to analyze the scientific literature on artificial intelligence in mathematics education using bibliometric methods. Relevant publications were identified through a search in the Scopus database using predefined keywords. The analysis was conducted using Biblioshiny, the web-based interface of the Bibliometrix package running on RStudio. Key bibliometric indicators such as the distribution of articles by year, journals, and the affiliations of the authors were examined descriptively. Additionally, scientific maps were used to visualize and evaluate research trends in the field through collaboration networks and keyword co-occurrence. The findings reveal a growing interest in artificial intelligence technologies within the context of mathematics education, with the literature largely focusing on technical and theoretical applications, and a limited number of pedagogical studies. Moreover, it was found that publications are concentrated in certain countries, with limited multinational collaborations. This study provides researchers with a general overview of the field and offers guidance on potential focal points for future research
