Abstract
Abstract. Relevance. The article is devoted to the problem of timely diagnosis of ovarian cysts among girls according to the analysis of literary sources. Separately, the key role of ultrasound diagnostics of ovarian cysts and physical therapy after laparoscopic operations for ovarian cysts is emphasized in the context of preventing complications such as ovarian cyst torsion with necrosis, adhesions of the abdominal organs, hormonal ovarian dysfunction, and infertility. The problem of the lack of a unified algorithm for postoperative physiotherapy management of such a contingent of children is related to stable prevalence of postoperative complications, which necessitates the formation of an optimal strategy for its resolution. Purpose of the Study. To highlight the features of the clinical course of ovarian cysts in girls, to demonstrate diagnostic and therapeutic physiotherapy techniques based on personal experience and literature sources. Material and methods. An analysis and generalization of the results of scientific research for 2003-2024, selected on the basis of an information search in the scientometric databases Scopus, Web of Science, PubMed, MEDLINE, Google Scholar by keywords, was carried out «ovarian cyst», «follicular cyst», «dermoid cyst», «acute abdomen», «ovarian teratomas», «laparoscopy versus laparotomy», «ischemic adnexa» Research Results and Conclusions. It is important to pay attention to the timeliness of the diagnosis of ovarian cysts. To achieve this goal, it is necessary to use a screening method - pelvic ultrasound. The gold standard for surgical treatment of adnexal cysts is the laparoscopic method of minimally invasive intervention, whose advantages in pediatric gynecology are cosmetic, gentle surgical technique, and short hospital stay. Physical rehabilitation of children after laparoscopic pelvic surgery is an important aspect in restoring reproductive health. The peculiarities of physiotherapeutic measures consist in the individual selection of elements of rehabilitation influence, taking into account the characteristics of the child's disease, age, concomitant diseases and past surgical interventions. Maximum effectiveness of rehabilitation measures is achieved when a multidisciplinary team of specialists including a pediatric gynecologist, pediatric surgeon, physical rehabilitation specialist, and psychologist works with patients.
