Abstract

Abstract. Background. The biogeometric posture profile is defined as a complex spatial configuration of the body's biokinematic chains relative to the vertical axis. It reflects not only the static alignment but also the organism's functional readiness for rational motor performance. For women in early adulthood, this period is characterized by the completion of active morphological changes; however, it is also a stage where the initial negative effects of hypodynamia and occupational deformations (e.g., "office syndrome") accumulate. This makes posture monitoring a critical component of preventive physical culture and sports rehabilitation. Objectives. The study aims to determine the ethnic and regional characteristics of the posture profile in women aged 22–25 residing in Kyiv (Ukraine) and Zhoukou (China). Material and methods. Theoretical analysis and generalization of scientific literature, biomedical methods, pedagogical experiment, and methods of mathematical statistics were employed. The study involved 32 women aged 22–25. Results. Generalization of the data established patterns of spatial body organization depending on the posture type. A comparative analysis of biogeometric indicators revealed that the most favorable parameters were observed in the group of women with normal posture. Minimal values of most angles in the sagittal and frontal planes indicate a high level of harmony in spatial body organization. This configuration ensures optimal alignment of the main trunk segments and minimal asymmetry. Conversely, the least favorable biomechanical state was found in women with a kyphotic posture. This group is characterized by postural destabilization in the sagittal plane, evidenced by maximal values of angles α1 (head tilt), α3 (pelvic tilt), and α4 (total body displacement). These changes indicate a pathological increase in thoracic kyphosis and a significant shift in the general center of mass, creating excessive static load on the musculoskeletal system. Women with scoliotic posture exhibited pronounced lateral instability. Primary impairments were localized in the frontal plane, manifesting as asymmetry of the shoulder girdle and scapular levels. Moderate impairments in the sagittal plane suggest a selective vulnerability of this biomechanical type to frontal asymmetries while relatively maintaining anteroposterior balance. Conclusions. Differentiation of posture types clearly correlates with the vector of biomechanical impairments: for kyphotic posture (round back), the dominant factor is the regression of indicators in the sagittal plane, whereas for scoliotic posture, it is the increase in asymmetry within the frontal projection.
