Abstract
Abstract. The purpose of the study was to determine the impact of TRX suspension training on the physical fitness and formation of a healthy lifestyle among senior high school boys. Materials and methods. The study involved 23 male students of the 11th grade, who were divided into a control group (n=11) and an experimental group (n=12). The formative experiment lasted for four months and aimed to examine the development of a healthy lifestyle through innovative fitness technologies in the process of physical education for 11th-grade boys using TRX suspension exercises. The research methods included analysis of literature sources, pedagogical observation, pedagogical testing, pedagogical experiment, and methods of mathematical statistics. Results. The experimental group demonstrated statistically significant improvements in performance indicators: in the “sit-ups in 1 minute” test, the improvement was 10.7 %, in the “standing long jump” – 2.8 %, in the “100 m sprint from a high start” – 13.8 %, in the “pull-ups on the bar” – 26.1 %, and in the “shuttle run 4×9 m” – 10.0 %. In the “forward bend from a sitting position” test, the difference between the two stages was statistically insignificant. In the control group, most tests showed no statistically significant differences between the pre- and post-test results. Conclusions. The developed program based on TRX suspension exercises is advisable to include in the physical education process of senior high school boys. The tested exercises contribute to the comprehensive development of physical qualities, improve general fitness levels, and strengthen the musculoskeletal system. Performing such exercises fosters a responsible attitude toward personal health, increases interest in physical activity, and promotes the formation of a stable understanding of the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle
