Abstract

The Pondok 1 Palapa Farmers Group in Bakelar Village, Siak Regency, is a group of farmers engaged in horticultural cultivation. Farmers in this area rely heavily on animal manure as the primary fertilizer for plant nutrition. However, the processing of kohe still uses conventional methods, which are time-consuming and produceinconsistent fertilizer. This community serviceaims to improve the quality of organic fertilizer from chicken manure using a manure shredder. The community service method is carried out in stages: socialization, training, technology application, mentoring, and evaluation. This community service demonstrates that the kohe machine technology can accelerate and produce uniform and high-quality fertilizer. The kohe machine accelerates fertilizer decomposition from 2-3 months to 14 days, and analysis of fertilizer nutrient content meets Indonesian National Standards. PKM training shows that it improves farmers' skills and knowledge in making quality organic fertilizer.
