Abstract

English teachers are required to have strong ICT competencies and stay updated with technological developments, including the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the implementation of the Deep Learning approach in line with the latest curriculum. This aligns with the 21st-century educational landscape that emphasizes digital literacy, pedagogical awareness, and rich learning content. This competency-strengthening activity aims to improve teachers’ knowledge and skills in utilizing ICT and AI and applying the Deep Learning approach through the development of live worksheets. The community service program involved active participation from English teachers in training designed to address limited understanding of technology, AI, and Deep Learning implementation in classroom practice. The methods used included lectures, discussions, collaborative workshops, and mentoring in live worksheet development. The results show increased understanding and skills among high school English teachers in Pekanbaru in integrating ICT and AI to produce live worksheets based on the Deep Learning approach.
