Abstract

This article is devoted to the description of communicative models of the organization of the text of Old Russian teachings. The relevance of the study is determined by the inclusion of historical material on the Russian language in the context of current trends in modern Russian studies, with the aim of establishing systemic dynamic processes. The analysis involves the texts of Old Russian teachings from the 11th to the 13th centuries, which are examined as a speech genre and a textual phenomenon from the perspective of communication theory. The communicative situation and the communicative task of the analyzed texts are identified. There are four communicative models of the organization of role deixis in the texts of Old Russian teachings, which are determined by the relationship between the narrator (“addresser") and the listener (“addressee"): “I - you (plural)", “I - you (singular)", “0 - you", and “we". Each communicative model is realized in the text through linguistic means at various levels (primarily the lexical and grammatical levels). The analysis allows us to determine the specifics of the communicative organization of the text of Old Russian teachings, as well as to relate it to the linguistic attitudes of the Old Russian scribe (narrator (“addresser") and listener (“addressee"), which are characteristic of the Christian worldview and aimed at conveying the divine truth to the addressee of the text.
