Abstract

The article examines modern innovative solutions in the design of sowing complexes aimed at improving the efficiency of resource-saving technologies in crop production. The structural and technological features of the main components of seeding systems - fans, metering units, seed and fertilizer hoppers, coulters, and the layout of working elements - are analyzed in detail. The classification of sowing complexes by the type of fan drive, type of metering mechanism, and hopper arrangement is presented. The advantages of hydraulic fan drives, electric seed metering drives, and coulter constructions that ensure high-quality seedbed formation without disturbing the soil structure are highlighted. It is noted that the implementation of innovative design and control systems significantly enhances seeding accuracy, reduces energy consumption, and increases the overall reliability and adaptability of machines to various operating conditions. The study emphasizes that modern sowing complexes integrate multiple technological operations - pre-sowing soil tillage, fertilizer application, seed sowing, rolling, and surface leveling - into a single process, which allows for a reduction in field passes, labor intensity, and fuel consumption. The application of electronic seed rate control systems, sensors for monitoring seed flow, and GPS-based navigation ensures precise material distribution and optimizes resource utilization. Such technological integration contributes to the development of precision agriculture and supports sustainable crop production. The article also identifies the main trends in the further development of sowing complexes, including the intellectualization of control systems, wider adoption of electric and hybrid drives, automation of sowing rate adjustment, integration with digital platforms for precision farming, modular design improvement, and the use of energy-efficient and environmentally friendly technologies. Adaptation of sowing machines to different soil and climatic conditions and compliance with sustainable development principles are recognized as strategic directions for future research and industrial implementation.
