From the results, it is found that: (1) necessity, students consider grammar as the number one importance to learn and 100% of them assumed that Parts of Speech are important to understand English construction; (2) lackness, students still find difficulties particularly on conjunctions account for 57.5% and prepositions (42.5%) respectively; (3) wanted, a total of 92.5% wish to possess a specific book on Parts of Speech and expect some features such as simple explanations, examples for exercises which could be facilitated both through videos or digital interactive activities in learning media. Based on these findings, an interactive e-book design was developed, containing six types of Parts of Speech, complete with examples, illustrations, YouTube videos, and interactive exercises using Wordwall, Quizizz, Kahoot, and Edpuzzle.
