Abstract
Augmenting formal consumer education curricula (i.e., decision making, resource management, and citizen participation) with nonformal (intentional) and informal (incidental) extracurricular activities provides a well-rounded, holistic education leading to empowered and fiscally and socially responsible consumer citizens.
