Abstract

In the signal system of rail transit, speed measurement is one of the key technologies to ensure the safe and efficient operation of trains. This article mainly analyzes the common speed measurement principles in rail transit signal systems, including speed measurement technology based on speed sensors and the principle of speed monitoring using Doppler radar to measure speed. The article first introduces the speed measurement methods of different devices, such as measuring speed through speed sensors, Doppler radar, and satellite positioning, and points out the advantages and disadvantages of these methods. Next, the application of redundant speed measurement systems formed by the combination of different devices was analyzed. Finally, the application scenarios and challenges of different measurement methods in actual rail transit were discussed, and future development trends were proposed, especially in terms of innovation in accuracy improvement and data processing. By comparing and analyzing different speed measurement techniques, this article provides theoretical support for the optimization of rail transit signal systems and the application of new technologies.
