Abstract

Educational digitalization has put forward new requirements for the university governance system. Artificial intelligence (AI) technology assists in the competitive performance evaluation of universities by building an information system for performance evaluation, encourage the striving for excellence and healthy competition, determine the assessment indicators and requirements for each unit through classification, grouping and hierarchical design, breaking down information barriers, reconstructing the performance evaluation index system under the CIPP (Context-Input-Process-Product) evaluation model, and taking the input-output contrast ratio as a consideration factor to further optimize the methods of competitive performance evaluation. This approach aims to activate the endogenous motivation of faculty and staff in university colleges and their enthusiasm for striving for excellence, optimize resource allocation, and enhance the school-running benefits of universities.
