Abstract

This study explores innovative approaches for integrating grassroots Party construction into the dormitory culture of Chinese universities. Employing a mixed-methods research design, incorporating survey data from 520 students across 12 universities and in-depth case studies of four model programs, quantitative analysis reveals a notable 34% surge in student political engagement in dormitories that have implemented these frameworks. By establishing a three-dimensional implementation mechanism and adopting a grid-based management model, it demonstrates how Party construction can significantly enhance the efficacy of ideological education and instill socialist core values among students. Practical applications reveal that dormitory-based Party member demonstration projects serve as catalysts for improving students’ self-management skills and political literacy, underscoring the strategic importance of this integration in contemporary higher education.
