Innovation of Pre-Service Training System for College Teachers Based on Descriptive Statistics Under the Reform of Talent Cultivation Mode: A Case Study of Guangxi
Abstract
In the context of the continuous improvement of the quality of Chinese higher education and deepening reform of talent cultivation mode, innovating pre-service training systems for college teachers in China’s higher education institutions (HEIs) has become imperative. From the talent cultivation model reform perspective, this study takes Guangxi as a case and collects 1,955 valid questionnaire responses. Based on descriptive statistics, it analyzes the perceptions, satisfaction levels, and reform demands of college teachers regarding pre-service training, identifies the existing problems in the current system, and proposes corresponding solutions. The results show that the teachers’ awareness of the necessity of training and their consciousness of self-directed learning have a significant impact on the effectiveness of training. Most teachers prefer blended teaching models and practice-oriented courses. Therefore, this paper proposes reforms in four aspects: enhancing the recognition of training value, optimizing course design, innovating training modes, and improving evaluation methods. The aim is to improve the quality of pre-service training in Chinese HEIs, promote the professional development of teachers, and advance the reform of the Chinese talent cultivation mode.
