Research on Calibration Methods for DC and Even-Order Harmonic Testers
Abstract
In response to the impact of DC and even-order harmonics on electrical energy measurement, relevant standards have mandated performance tests for electricity meters under such interference. As the core testing equipment, the accuracy of DC and Even-Order Harmonic Testers is essential for ensuring valid and reliable verification results. However, calibration methods for these devices are currently scarce, resulting in an incomplete measurement traceability chain and unquantified accuracy risks. To address this gap, this study analyzes domestic and international standards and, based on the operational principles and technical characteristics of the testers, proposes a calibration scheme covering two dimensions: electrical energy and harmonic content. The research provides key technical support for standardizing the metrological performance evaluation of such devices, thereby ensuring the accuracy and fairness of electricity meter verification.
