Uncertainty Quantification of Blade Geometric Deviation on Structural Characteristics of Compressor Rotors
Abstract
Compressor rotor blades are the basic working units of a compressor, and their geometric design has a significant impact on the reliability, economy, and performance of the compressor. However, the machining errors during the manufacturing process lead to deviations in the blade geometric parameters. This work focuses on a subsonic rotor and utilizes numerical simulations to calculate the structural characteristics of the rotor. By measuring the geometric parameters of 100 blades and using kernel density estimation, probability density functions of 12 types of geometric deviations on 3 sections are obtained. Subsequently, sample points are determined using Halton sequence, and response models are constructed using data-driven non-intrusive polynomial chaos method. After obtaining the probability distribution of rotor structural characteristics, analysis of covariance method is used to analyze the sensitivity of rotor structural characteristics to various blade geometric deviations.
