Design and Implementation of an AR-Assisted Interactive Teaching Software for Computer Graphics Principles
Abstract
To address the challenges in achieving intuitive understanding of abstract algorithms in traditional computer graphics education, this study developed a mobile-based Augmented Reality (AR) interactive teaching tool using Unity3D and Vuforia. The system enables real-time 3D model loading through image recognition and supports multiple interaction methods, including gestures and coordinate input, enabling visual exploration of graphic transformations. Integrated video explanations and quizzes further reinforce learning. Experimental results demonstrate that the AR-based approach significantly enhances student focus and reduces conceptual confusion compared to conventional “PPT + code demonstration” instruction, offering an effective solution for teaching abstract concepts in specialized courses.
