Abstract

The ongoing conflict in Ukraine, especially since the full-scale Russian invasion of 2022, has placed significant pressure on the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). One critical area of need has been the psychological well-being of soldiers, where traditional methods of psychological assessment have proven to be insufficient. This paper examines the implementation of modern digital tools for psychological assessment within the AFU, focusing on their role in improving mental health monitoring, streamlining the diagnostic process, and supporting psychological resilience in combat situations. The introduction of digital self-assessment tools, such as the PC-PTSD, PCL-5, NSI, and Psychological Combat Readiness, has provided military psychologists with an innovative approach to overcome the challenges of resource scarcity, personnel shortages, and the need for timely psychological interventions.
