DEVELOPMENT OF LOCAL CULTURE-BASED COMIC MEDIA TO IMPROVE STUDENTS' CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS

This development research aims to produce a local culture based comic media designed to enhance the critical thinking skills of V grade elementary school students. The study employs a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE development model. The data collection instrument used was a questionnaire administered to material experts, language experts, media experts, and one fifth-grade teacher from SD Inpres 1 Toboli to assess the feasibility of the local culture-based comic media. The research data obtained were qualitative data analyzed using evaluation criteria guidelines to determine the quality level of the developed product. The results of this study indicate that a local culture based comic media has been successfully developed to improve the critical thinking skills of V grade elementary school students
