Stylistic exercises as a tool for developing the professional language competence of future Сhinese language specialists
Abstract
The abstract is devoted to the study of the role of stylistic exercises in the process of forming professional language competence among students of Chinese studies. It is noted that the professional language competence of future specialists in Chinese involves not only mastery of grammatical structures and vocabulary, but also the ability to produce stylistically appropriate speech that meets the norms of modern Chinese and the requirements of professional communication. Stylistic exercises play a key role in shaping the professional language competence of future sinologists, as they ensure the acquisition of genre and stylistic norms of the Chinese language necessary for effective functioning in academic, official-business, journalistic, and other professional contexts.Through systematic work with stylistic exercises, students not only master linguistic means but also learn to respond adequately to communicative situations that simulate real professional tasks. This article substantiates the role of stylistic exercises as a tool for the targeted development of professional language competence, which includes the ability of future sinologists not only to use linguistic means correctly but also to adapt them accordingto the genre and stylistic requirements of specific communicative situations. Stylistic exercises ensure practical assimilation of language norms, contribute to the development of speech flexibility, and form skills of stylistically appropriate translation, editing, and text creation within professional discourse. The methodological foundations for the development of stylistic exercise complexes are defined, and the methodological principles are described, including the issue of material selection. The results of the study indicate that systematic use of stylistic exercises has a positive impact on the quality of students’ language training. The work has practical significance for Chinese language teachers, methodologists, and curriculum developers.
