India’s Message to The World: Control TB by Nutrition
Abstract
Evidence from stone age skeletons unearthed in Europe, mummified bodies in China, and Egypt, shows tuberculosis (TB) is probably as old as the human race. The World Health Organization’s (WHO) global Tuberculosis report, 2024, reveals that TB has probably once again become the world's leading infectious disease killer. More than ten million people continue to fall ill with TB every year, and the number has been rising since 2021.
