Study of the level of formation of the phonetic side of speech in children of elderly preschool age with general speech underdevelopment of iv level
Abstract
The article describes the results of a study of the level of formation of the phonetic side of speech in older preschool children with general speech underdevelopment. It was determined that phonetic underdevelopment of speech is defined as a violation of the formation of expressive speech, caused by deficiencies in the perception and reproduction of phonemes in children with various types of speech disorders. Important criteria for a child's readiness for school are the level of formation of the phonetic component of speech and the correctness of oral speech, which subsequently determine the success of mastering reading and writing skills. The methodological basis of the empirical study of the state of formation of the phonetic component of speech in preschool children with general speech underdevelopment was scientific approaches and diagnostic techniques aimed at analyzing violations of the phonetic and phonetic-phonetic sides of speech. At the first stage, the state of sound pronunciation was determined by performing three practical tasks aimed at assessing the formation of pronunciation: independent reproduction of sounds by children; imitative pronunciation of sounds by ear without using visual support; isolated reproduction of vowels and consonants. At the second stage, the level of development of phonemic hearing and phonemic perception was studied and was implemented throughthe performance of three tasks: recognizing a given sound among a number of other sounds; determining a syllable with a target sound among the proposed syllables; selecting a word with a given sound among a number of words. At the third stage, the state of formation of the sound-syllabic structure of the word was studied, which involved the repetition of words of varying degrees of complexity, as well as the reproduction of words of a similar syllabic structure with the support of object images. Qualitative analysis showed that preschoolers with general speech underdevelopment have a high level of formation.
