Morir con dignidad La sentencia sobre la eutanasia
Abstract
On the morning of October 30, 2023, Paola Roldán Espinosa wrote: “I open the doors of my house and my heart and tell my story so that all Ecuadorians may have the right to a dignified death.”1 On the same day, the Spanish newspaper El País recounted, in some detail, Paola’s life, her illness (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, ALS), and the reasons for suing before the Constitutional Court for the recognition of the right to die with dignity in Ecuador.
