Abstract

Modern business conditions are marked by increasing market volatility, digital turbulence, and a growing complexity of economic risks, underscoring the need for integrated approaches to managing enterprises’ resource potential. The effectiveness of financial, material, human, and informational resource utilization increasingly determines the level of organizational resilience and the ability of firms to withstand internal and external threats. In this context, developing a systemic mechanism for resource management that integrates analytical, operational, and security components is particularly important. The purpose of this study is to theoretically substantiate and structure a comprehensive model for managing economic resources to strengthen enterprise economic resilience. The methodological framework includes systems analysis, comparative assessment, a resource-component approach, indicative analysis, elements of risk management, and the construction of dynamic indices based on data from enterprises operating in different industries. The information base comprises publicly available financial statements of Nova Poshta, Ukrnafta, and ATB-Market, which ensured representativeness and enabled a crosssectoral comparison of resource characteristics. The analysis revealed significant differences in the structure and dynamics of the resource potential of the studied enterprises, identified imbalances in liquidity, financial stability, and technological and infrastructural capacity, and outlined distinct profiles of resource-related risks. A four-contour resource management model was developed, encompassing the processes of resource formation, utilization, monitoring, and protection, and ensuring cyclical interaction between managerial decisions and security mechanisms. The results demonstrate that integrating these contours creates a coherent system for maintaining enterprise resilience and enhances adaptability in the face of uncertainty. The practical significance of the findings lies in the possibility of applying the model to diagnose resource-related threats, optimize resource utilization, and support strategic decision-making aimed at strengthening economic security.
