THE CONCEPT OF ADAPTIVE STRUCTURAL RECOVERY AND DEVELOPMENT OF UKRAINE’S ECONOMY
Abstract
In the current context of global economic transformation and the urgent need for post-war recovery, it is necessary to develop new theoretical and methodological approaches to ensure sustainable growth, institutional stability, and technological modernization of the national economy. Traditional development models applied in both global and domestic economic practice do not fully account for the complexity of modern socio-economic processes and their high level of uncertainty. Therefore, it is essential to provide theoretical justification and formulate the key principles of the concept of adaptive structural recovery of Ukraine’s economy, oriented toward contemporary challenges and societal needs. In the course of the study, methods of historical-logical and comparative analysis were employed to identify scientific prerequisites; systemic and institutional approaches were applied to substantiate conceptual provisions; and structural analysis and indicative modeling were used to determine interrelations among key components. This methodological framework enabled the integration of classical economic theories with modern challenges such as digital transformation, social inclusivity, and sustainable development. Based on the research, the concept of adaptive structural recovery and development of Ukraine’s economy has been substantiated as an interdisciplinary model that integrates human capital, institutional resilience, digitalization, and inclusive development. Its adaptability has been demonstrated as the ability of the economic system to respond promptly to internal and external challenges while maintaining systemic integrity and efficiency. Methodological foundations for shaping a sovereign model of economic development have been proposed. The practical significance of the study lies in the possibility of applying the concept’s provisions to design mechanisms and instruments for Ukraine’s post-war economic recovery. The obtained results can be utilized in public administration and analytical practice to develop effective development models integrated into global economic processes.
